REACH Tour de France

As part of the REACH conferences organised by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry, NGK Berylco France presented its feedback on the REACH registration of beryllium metal. Angélique Renier, Communications and Environment Manager, highlighted the importance of pooling and updating scientific knowledge on substances in order to promote regulations proportionate to the actual risk, which for beryllium and many other metals is limited to the workplace.

Angélique Renier, Secretary General of the “Beryllium Science & Technology BeST” association, created from the REACH consortium, regularly gives presentations on beryllium and the workplace good practice programme “Be Responsible” in French, English, and German.
