Our alloys

C17510

Properties

The C17510 alloy, also known as CuNi2Be (Berylco 14 or B14), contains a lower beryllium content (0.6% maximum). It offers excellent electrical conductivity. Through a proprietary manufacturing process developed and mastered by NGK Berylco France, the B14 S delivers outstanding formability. Although supplied in the mill-hardened condition, the B14 S combines excellent electrical conductivity with high mechanical strength (typical values: 55% IACS and 950 MPa). No further heat treatment of stamped parts is therefore required, reducing production costs and eliminating any risk of distortion in finished components.

This alloy stands out for its unique combination of high conductivity, mechanical strength, and formability — a performance level unmatched by any other copper alloy in this price range.
