Since its founding in 1919, the NGK Group has continuously developed and delivered products that support the foundations of our society and contribute to environmental preservation. With ceramics as our core technology, we harness their potential by combining them with our proprietary technologies in molding, firing, processing, and evaluation to create groundbreaking products.

Today, the world is accelerating its efforts to achieve a carbon-neutral and digital society in order to address numerous social challenges. NGK already possesses a wide range of products and technologies that can contribute to these solutions. Among our commercially available or currently developed innovations are NAS (sodium-sulfur) batteries, sub-nano ceramic membranes, and gallium nitride (GaN) wafers for power semiconductors, which support carbon neutrality. Additionally, our components for semiconductor manufacturing equipment and our EnerCera rechargeable lithium-ion batteries are vital for an increasingly digital society.
