NGK Group Code of Conduct
Employees of all the Group’s subsidiaries are required to comply with the NGK code of conduct based on the following eight main principles:

Environment – For the future
Our company, committed to complying with environmental regulations and ensuring the compliance of its products for customers, has for many years implemented actions to meet increasing environmental requirements.
NGK Berylco France is ISO 14001 certified. We are engaged in a continuous improvement process in which all employees participate and contribute. We strive to control our environmental impacts, to act as a responsible player and to take an active part in protecting the present and future environment. Accordingly, a systematic, precise and rigorous recycling process has been implemented for all production waste such as metals, working oils, acids, cooling water, etc.
Our production processes require significant amounts of electrical energy. NGK Berylco France has chosen to use 100% renewable green energy for its production processes.
Beyond our own processes, as our products are involved in the energy and digital transition, we work in partnership with our customers to develop solutions to some of the critical challenges that future generations will face.
Environment, Health and Safety
Our NGK Insulators Group is one of the world leaders in the manufacture of beryllium-copper alloys. We are actively involved in environmental studies concerning the substances present in our products, in particular beryllium, a key element of our alloys.
NGK Berylco France is a founding and active member of the Beryllium Science & Technology Association (BeST), established in 2011 in Brussels, Belgium. As part of this initiative, we contributed to the development of a voluntary good practice programme for products containing beryllium — the Beryllium Product Stewardship Program — called “Be Responsible”, which is freely available online at www.berylliumsafety.eu.
Our priority is to comply with applicable legal regulations to guarantee our customers the long-term availability of our products.
