Recycling

Our recycling policy

Our company, committed to complying with environmental regulations and ensuring the compliance of our products for our customers, has, for many years, implemented actions to meet increasing environmental requirements

NGK Berylco France is ISO 14001 certified. We are engaged in a continuous improvement process in which all employees participate

Our aim is to control our environmental impacts, act responsibly, and actively contribute to protecting both the present and future environment.

Accordingly, a systematic, precise and rigorous recycling process has been implemented for all production waste such as working oils, acids, cooling water, etc., as well as production scrap (metals).

Material recycling

Beryllium copper is a sustainable material. It can be 100% infinitely recycled without altering its unique properties.

Recycling beryllium copper saves natural resources (ores), reduces mining activities, and thus helps protect landscapes and biodiversity. It also saves the energy required to produce primary metal (an estimated 75% energy saving), reduces carbon emissions, and lowers the environmental impacts and costs associated with the storage and disposal of waste from ore processing.

Production scrap from beryllium-copper alloy articles can be directly recycled to produce new alloy, which is beneficial from both an environmental and economic standpoint. We recycle our own production scrap and also take back that of our customers.

We estimate that 30 to 40% of our alloy production is recycled into new alloys.

Beryllium is a material with very high added and financial value. Pure beryllium metal components used in high-technology applications can also be easily recycled.

NGK Berylco takes back your production scrap and unused raw material stocks

We take back your production scrap from our Berylco alloys, provided it meets our requirements: the metal scrap must be sorted by alloy type and clean

Our products are infinitely recyclable and help develop a circular economy beneficial to the environment.

Please feel free to contact us for a buy-back offer for your production scrap and unused material stocks.
