Properties
The performance of GMX copper-nickel-tin alloys is generally lower than that of Berylco beryllium copper alloys — particularly in terms of electrical conductivity — but they offer attractive characteristics in terms of mechanical strength and thermal stability.
C72700 (GMX 96) delivers very high mechanical strength and excellent stress relaxation resistance. C72950 (GMX 215), an NGK exclusive, offers outstanding thermal stability and heat resistance (above 200°C), along with remarkable elasticity — even superior to that of beryllium copper alloys.
