NGK Insulators Group will change its name to NGK Corporation on April 1, 2026

Our group will now be called NGK Corporation, to better reflect the diversity of activities within its three divisions: Environment, Digital Society, and Energy. The acronym NGK stands for Nippon Gaishi Kaisha (= Japanese Insulator Company), the group’s historical core business. However, insulators now represent only a small part of the group’s activities, which have considerably expanded over the past century.

Our goal: to enhance our reputation as a company contributing to carbon neutrality and digital transformation through its innovative materials and technologies.
